Someone Like You is a great example of that. You won't be able to forget the heartwarming characters, Scarlett and Halley, as they experience an event in high school that should be rare but is in fact very common. When Scarlett's boyfriend dies in a motorcycle accident, she and Halley mourn together. But then Scarlett finds out she is carrying his child, and decides to keep the baby.
